I always have enjoyed the classroom experience - both as a student and an instructor. It is a great feeling to stand before a class and to take the thoughts, ideas, and concepts in your heart and mind, to translate them into images, words and sentences on a blackboard, and then to see them become part of the student's understanding. The best classes are when the light bulbs of comprehension begin to pop off, the hands are raised and discussion and inter-actiong begins. The discussion heads in five directions and learning is being accomplished.
Chalk Talk is meant to be a place where ideas can be expressed, debated and challenged in a spirit that is intended to help us all learn from each other. This is by no means, some "Bible Answer Man" site. Who has the obnoxious, self-advancing pride to set themselves ofrth as the pinnacle of knowledge. Many, I'm afraid, who have far more brass endowed to them than do I.
So, come on by and enter the debate. It should be interesting.
